3. Mode & Targets

Carrier Mode (Fleet Tools)

Carrier Mode is isolated. It does not change Scenario/Actual math. Fleet reads saved Actual loads and creates separate settlement records.

4. Time Defaults

These are your reusable timing defaults for Scenario/Actual.

Trip Miles Auto-Calc: Google Maps routing is enabled in this build.
No API key entry needed on new devices. (Key is embedded + restricted by referrer in Google Cloud.)

5. Reserves (percent as decimals)

Recommended baseline active. This is your peace of mind.

Maintenance (Oil Change)

Configure oil change tracking here. The maintenance dot at the top will reflect your status (OK / Due Soon / Overdue).

6. Reserve + Bank (Starting Balances)

Optional. Totals screen will add these starting balances to computed Reserve/Bank totals from saved Actual loads.

Gate (Internal) — Regional Minimum Rate

Driver-only minimum-rate calculator with realistic regional and time-away factors. This does not replace the original Gate (shipper-facing) tab.

What this “Gate” is for
  • Show a shipper the minimum a real truck needs to run a lane without cheap-freight damage.
  • Make the negotiation start with transparency: time away + fuel + fixed basis + risk.
  • Later: invite-only shipper accounts → direct messaging → posted loads → select vetted carriers.

Stops & Routing (Advanced)

Unlimited extra stops. Each extra stop adds at least 1 hour, and required stop pay includes time plus deviation miles.

Route Verification (ZIP / City optional)

Enter route locations and click verification to update route miles. If live map verification is unavailable, your manual miles stay in place as the fallback.
